Stephen Saker spent his early childhood in Pakistan. Subsequently his family moved to the U.K. He completed his education in England at Portsmouth University with a degree in Latin American Studies.
Following a period as Latin American representative for a substantial British conglomerate, Wolseley-Hughes plc, he moved to Florida in the early 1980s. He entered the financial services industry and later became a director of an Orlando-based asset management firm, International Assets Advisory Corp., specializing in offering a global investment approach to private investors.
Mr. Saker joined Adrian Day Asset Management in the latter part of 2003. He and Mr. Day have known each other since the mid-1980s and have jointly served on the boards of two public companies.
He is married and lives in Florida with his wife and two teenage daughters. He serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations. His leisure activities include boating, reading, and the occasional bad rounds of golf & bridge.
