Adrian Day
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Adrian Day is considered a pioneer in promoting the benefits of global investing in this country.  A native of London, after graduating with honors from the London School of Economics, Mr. Day spent many years as a financial investment writer, where he gained a large following for his expertise in searching out unusual investment opportunities around the world.  He has also authored two books on the subject of global investing: International Investment Opportunities: How and Where to Invest Overseas Successfully and Investing Without Borders.

His latest book, widely praised by readers, is Investing in Resources: How to Profit from the Outsized Potential and Avoid the Risks (Wiley, 2010).

Mr. Day is a recognized authority in both global and resource investing.  He is frequently interviewed by the press, domestically and abroad.  He is a popular speaker and frequently invited to lecture at financial conferences and seminars around the world.   His pleasures include fine dining, reading (especially history), and the opera. For a list of Mr. Day's upcoming public appearances, please click here.

Mary Ann Riley
Operations Manager

Mary Ann Riley oversees the establishment of new accounts, places and monitors trading activity, liaises with clients and brokers, troubleshoots account related issues, and establishes policies and procedures to ensure effective operations and compliance with regulatory mandates.

Prior to joining Adrian Day Asset Management in late 2013, Mary Ann enjoyed a successful career with T. Rowe Price as a VP in their Global Investment & Institutional Services division.  Throughout her 25-year career, Mary Ann established and led several business departments.  She achieved her M.B.A. with honors from Johns Hopkins University.  We are pleased to have Mary Ann on our team to leverage her leadership, strong process orientation, and effective communications skills.

Candy Harmel
Portfolio Accountant

Candy Harmel joined Adrian Day Asset Management in 2004 as Accountant. She performs all accounting duties including reconciliation of clients accounts and billing fees. She assists the trading department and communicates with brokers to resolve fee issues. 

Candy has an A.A. in Business Management and a Letter of Recognition in Accounting and Taxation.
